1/14 Alloy 2-speed transfer case with speed compensation and self-locking longitudinal differential.
The 2-speed transfer case is designed for use in TAMIYA 2- and 3-axle chassis in conjunction with the 2-speed manual transmission Compact. It offers you the possibility to convert or upgrade your model to all-wheel drive. It impresses with its simple installation, as existing bores/threads are used here. The transfer case offers two additional shiftable gears and a self-locking longitudinal differential that compensates for the difference in speed between the front and rear axles and, in the event of a loss of traction, activates the differential lock independently/automatically and ensures 100% traction.
Note: By using the 2-speed transfer case, the battery mount must be removed and the 7.2 V drive battery must be placed in the cab.
