1/14 Alloy 2-speed transfer case with speed compensation
1/14 Alloy 2-speed transfer case with speed compensation and self-locking longitudinal differential.
The 2-speed transfer case is designed for use in TAMIYA 2- and 3-axle chassis in conjunction with the 2-speed manual transmission Compact. It offers you the possibility to convert or upgrade your model to all-wheel drive. It impresses with its simple installation, as existing bores/threads are used here. The transfer case offers two additional shiftable gears and a self-locking longitudinal differential that compensates for the difference in speed between the front and rear axles and, in the event of a loss of traction, activates the differential lock independently/automatically and ensures 100% traction.
Note: By using the 2-speed transfer case, the battery mount must be removed and the 7.2 V drive battery must be placed in the cab.

This compact 2-speed transmission is designed for use in TAMIYA 2- and 3-axle chassis in conjunction with the 2-speed transfer case. It offers you the possibility to convert or upgrade your model to all-wheel drive. It impresses with its simple installation, as existing bores/threads are used here. The small design allows the installation of the driven front axle (500907267 - front axle installation kit 500907280 is required.) .

The components can be easily replaced, as these are installed at the existing mounting points. A great advantage of these axles is that no further space is required for a shift servo (linkages and bowden cables), since this automatically locks automatically / automatically in case of a traction loss. Officially licensed by ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
The axle is equipped with a self-locking differential and can be built either with or without throughput, both shafts and housing covers are included. With a traction loss, the differential locks automatically / automatically and generates 100% traction. A major advantage of this drive axle is that NO shifter servos, Bowden cables and linkages are required for the differential locks, which also benefits the clarity and space offer in the chassis. The axle components are housed in a high-load-bearing reinforced plastic axle housing and are ideally suited for every construction site application.
